Location
Broken Bow, Oklahoma
Secluded. Up North is exactly that. It’s tucked into the woods 18 miles north of Hochatown and in a remote area. It is quiet and peaceful. You’re close enough where you can enjoy all that Broken Bow and Hochatown has to offer, but are able to unwind and settle in at the cabin, away from the busy town.
You are approximately one mile from McCurtain County Wilderness Area, at the north end of Broken Bow Lake. There is access to the wilderness area to hike a 3/4 mile trail. There is a small (not fancy) entrance to launch a boat (no amenities, no fees, just a VERY basic boat launch site) that is located at the end of the road. The PERFECT spot to bring your (or rent in town) canoe or kayak and head out on the lake.
8 miles to a local Bait, Beer, BBQ stop (hole in the wall)
17 miles to Local 259 (a Market, candy store, food truck, juice truck, etc)
18 miles to restaurants: The Eat Out, Mountain Fork Brewery, Grateful Head Pizza, Gutter Chaos and so much more)
30 miles to Walmart and Pruett Grocery in Broken Bow
